Bangladesh has a large textile industry and many people are talented in making clothes and other textiles. Many of this is done by hand, but further equipment would allow one to make much more items in a shorter period of time and therefore sell more merchandise. This merchandise is sometimes their only income. Unfortunately, many of the poor cannot afford to purchase equipment such as sewing machines.
